Job description

Seasonal Warehouse Associate

Seasonal

Sunday to Thursday 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM

Propper International is the leading manufacturer of high-quality tactical gear and apparel for Military, Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, Security and Corrections since 1967. For the past 55 years, we've supplied over 120 million garments to the U.S. Department of Defense - more than any other manufacturer - and have built a commercial brand of product for law enforcement agencies and the greater public safety community.

We are looking for a motivated, detailed oriented seasonal warehouse associate to work in our warehouse in our Tennessee Distribution Center. This person will be assisting with introducing and constructing garment totes into our automating picking system.

JOB FUNCTION:
  • Loading inventory into storage containers and loading onto conveyor
  • Scanning inventory from pallets and crates into system
  • Updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved
  • Managing stock control, including item replenishment and storage
  • Performing general warehouse duties as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to use a radio frequency or barcode scanner
  • In-depth knowledge of industry safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 50-60 lbs. and transfer them repetitively
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, climb stairs for a minimum of 8 hours
  • Great team spirit
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Great self-independence and motivation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:

  • Warehouse and/or manufacturing organization preferred
  • Motorized order picker, cherry picker or forklift experience preferred
  • High school diploma
