The Director of Logistics & Supply Chain Management leads the end-to-end supply chain and logistics function for JANSON’s Integrated Mission Environments business unit. • Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, warranties, and volume agreements to maximize purchasing leverage.
  • Lead and manage our field support teams both domestically and abroad.
  • Partner with procurement, design, PM, general construction teams, and our installation teams to identify long-lead items and ensure project readiness.
  • Establish effective international shipping, customs, and European logistics processes.
  • Drive cost savings, protect project margins, and identify supply-chain risks before they impact schedule or profitability.
  • Develop standardized processes, reporting, and dashboards for procurement status, vendor performance, cost variance, and logistics risk.
  • Build and lead the logistics and procurement team as JANSON’s project portfolio grows.

 Key Measures of Success

  • On-time delivery and installation readiness
  • Procurement savings and cost avoidance
  • Project margin protection
  • Vendor performance
  • Long-lead-item management
  • Freight and logistics cost performance

 Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or project operations.
  • Experience supporting construction, interiors, FF&E, hospitality, or facilities modernization preferred.
  • Strong vendor negotiation and commercial management skills.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-site projects and high-value procurement.
  • International/European logistics experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of how supply-chain decisions impact project margin, cash flow, and customer delivery.
  • DoD or federal contracting experience is a plus.
