Construction Defect Associate
Locations: Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Diego, CA (Hybrid – 2 Days/Week In Office)
Experience: Construction Defect Litigation Experience Required
Salary Range: $125,000 – $185,000 + Bonus

Our client, a nationally recognized civil litigation defense firm, is seeking a Construction Defect Associate to join its growing California team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators representing developers, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and material suppliers in complex construction defect matters involving both commercial and residential projects.

What You'll Work On:

  • Defending construction defect claims from inception through resolution
  • Representing developers, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in complex litigation matters
  • Managing discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Attending court hearings, mediations, and site inspections
  • Collaborating on litigation strategy and case evaluation throughout all phases of a matter

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior construction defect litigation experience is required
  • Strong deposition, discovery, and case management experience
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and client relationship management abilities
  • Self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active California Bar admission required
