Job Description
Veolia Water Tech(VWT) is a worldwide leader in water recovery, treatment, and reuse. Job Summary:
As a Field Service Representative, you'll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, reverse osmosis (RO), and ultrafiltration (UF).
Key Characteristics:
โ€ข Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
โ€ข Consult with Veolia management and operation teams
โ€ข Excellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
โ€ข Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
โ€ข Create and maintain site paperwork and detailed technical summaries of work performed.
โ€ข Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
โ€ข Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems e Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, SDI, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
โ€ข Skilled in use of computers for reports, emails, service manuals, etc.
Qualifications
Qualifications Education & Experience Required:
โ€ข High School Diploma / GED
โ€ข 2+ years' experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
โ€ข Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in
maintenance
โ€ข Ability to respond after hours and weekends, primary hours M-F 7am to 3pm
โ€ข This is a minimal travel role
โ€ข Working conditions can be outside, in a trailer using our fleet assets, or at fixed location
