Job Overview

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the companyโ€™s operational infrastructure, strategic initiatives, and cross-departmental processes to ensure organizational efficiency, compliance, scalability, and long-term growth. This role works closely with executive leadership to develop and implement operational strategies, improve internal systems and automation, support risk management initiatives, and enhance overall company performance. The Director of Operations serves as a key leader in driving operational excellence, fostering interdepartmental collaboration, and maintaining alignment between business objectives, employee experience, and client service standards.


What You'll Do

  • Direct the design and implementation of procedural strategies, plans, policies, and processes suggested by operational management and staff, to include the consistent revision of existing standards and work manuals
  • Fully responsible for all operational structures
  • Assessing and enhancing company positioning to guarantee company proficiency, market dominance, and brand positioning
  • Including internal and external risk management and recalibration
  • Overseeing proprietary CRM by working directly with operational leadership and contracted programmers to modify and improve company software to both simplify the employee experience, and continuously move towards internal and external automation
  • Head all special projects and requests for software improvements and/or updates
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Department to ensure cost-effective resource management and the periodic review of fee structures, payment processing procedures, and related operational system
  • Participate in regular meetings with executive leadership, including the Compliance Director, Business Developer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Executive Officer, to discuss strategic initiatives, partnerships, operational improvements, and departmental objectives
  • Work closely with Human Resources to ensure employee policies, work environment, safety, rules, benefits, payroll, departmental shifts, etc. continue to operate in the best interest of both the company and its staff

Candidates should have a demonstrated history of successfully managing direct reports within a growing organization and leading teams through operational growth and process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is results-oriented, accountable, and focused on creating measurable impact. Performance will be evaluated based on leadership, execution, operational effectiveness, and overall contribution to company growth and team development.

We are looking for someone who already possesses the experience, confidence, and operational knowledge necessary to succeed in this role. This position is best suited for an established operations professional ready to lead, optimize, and grow alongside the company.


Required qualifications include:

  • At least 4 years of full-time, substantial operations experience with progressively increasing responsibilities
  • Knowledge of the debt relief industry regulations and operational guidelines
  • At least basic to moderate knowledge of civil litigation process, verbiage, documents, and court system behavior
  • Knowledge of federal consumer protection rules and regulations savvy, including but not limited to FDCPA and TCPA is a must
  • Familiarity with legal terms, conditions, and language
  • At least 2 years of full-time experience supervising management staff
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in any related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) considered
  • MBA preferred
