Job description

Our busy automotive group is looking for an auto porter to move and park cars while delivering excellent service and experience to our customers. In this role, you’ll be overseeing vehicle flow, cleaning cars, and managing key tags. Porters also check fluid levels in customer vehicles, oversee our service lane, and respond to requests to pick up vehicles. Jobseekers with excellent communication skills and great attitudes are encouraged to apply!Compensation:

$18 - $20 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Drive vehicles safely as directed by automotive dealership staff in the showroom or service area
  • Move vehicles from the service drive and ensure they are ready for customers to pick up
  • Work with the auto group service advisor to complete tasks such as keeping track of key tasks, cleaning cars, driving vehicles from service stalls, following dealership display standards, fielding customer requests, and other assigned duties
  • Keep parking lot, service drive, and other car porter areas neat and tidy
  • Service customer needs with a positive attitude

Qualifications:
  • Communication and customer service skills are essential
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Completion of the mandatory background check before employment
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
