Job description

Looking for a qualified high line new vehicle franchise dealership service director with a proven track record of large revenue growth while maintaining a high level of CSI.
As an Automotive Service Director at a dealership, you will oversee the daily operations of our service operations, ensuring that we grow our business and provide top-notch service to our customers. This role is vital in maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability in automotive care.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the service department operations, including advertising, marketing, scheduling and workflow.
  • Supervise and train service staff to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective service writing practices to enhance communication with customers.
  • Monitor repair orders for accuracy and completeness before finalizing services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to services provided.
  • Analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Service Director/Manager or similar role in the new vehicle franchise automotive industry for a minimum of 6 years.
  • Strong leadership skills and professionalism required.
  • General mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working for luxury dealerships required
  • Experience with CDK software required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams required.
  • Toyota/Lexus experience is a plus.
