A successful multi-location automotive dealership group in the Charlotte area is seeking an experienced Automotive Group Service Manager to provide leadership, direction, and performance oversight across our service operations.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an accomplished automotive service leader who knows how to develop strong managers, improve department performance, create consistency across multiple locations, and build service operations where both employees and customers want to stay.

Rather than managing one service drive, you'll work across multiple dealerships, partnering with store leadership and Service Managers to identify opportunities, strengthen processes, and drive measurable results throughout the group.

Benefits:

  • $175,000 - $225,000 annual income potential
  • Relocation assistance for the right candidate
  • 401(k) Plan with Company Match
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Disability Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Stability with a respected, multi-dealership automotive group
  • Supportive leadership and resources to succeed
  • Employee discounts
  • Career growth and advancement

What You'll Lead:

  • Provide leadership and operational oversight to Service Managers and service departments across multiple dealership locations
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including service gross, labor sales, effective labor rate, hours per RO, productivity, efficiency, CSI, and customer retention
  • Coach and develop Service Managers, advisors, and other service leadership
  • Establish consistent processes and performance standards across locations
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, profitability, staffing, and customer experience
  • Partner with General Managers and senior leadership on service department goals and strategies
  • Support technician and advisor recruiting, development, productivity, and retention
  • Ensure dealership and manufacturer service standards, policies, and procedures are consistently followed
  • Analyze department performance and develop action plans for locations that need additional support

What We're Looking For:

  • Automotive dealership service management experience required
  • Proven success leading a high-performing dealership service operation
  • Multi-store, Group Service Manager, Service Director, or Fixed Operations leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of dealership service KPIs, financial performance, and operational best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to coach managers and improve department performance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel between dealership locations as needed
