This is a job working for Big Tex Trailer World

SUMMARY

Assist in maintaining all aspects of the sales department of the Dealership including all parts and trailer sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer sales calls
  • Assist customers visiting Dealership
  • Quote trailers for customers
  • Prepare sales paperwork and deliver to office administration daily for invoicing
  • Coordinate, organize and maintain the display and merchandising of the sales yard
  • Coordinate, organize and properly display Parts Department
  • Assist in maintaining the general organization of the front office to create a friendly and professional appearance
  • Proper handling of cash transactions and reporting to office administration and adhering to all policies and procedures referring to handling of cash and bank deposits.
  • Position requires reliable transportation.  Mileage is reimbursed at the company’s current rate.
  • Plan and execute outside sales calls to develop wholesale business (Landscape, Construction, Rental Companies) with Store Manager direction, input, and approval
  • Attend Trade Shows, Sale Barns, Co-ops, Veterinarians, Farm Expos, Tractor Pulls, etc. to help drive overall sales initiative of the Dealership
  • Assist in completion of weekly inventory report
  • Maintain accurate and up to date order file lists for all trailer and parts sold at Dealership
  • Other duties as assigned

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Three (3) years of commissioned sales experience
  • Valid Driver’s License 
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree Preferred
  • 3-5 years commissioned sales experience preferred
  • Must be able to work Monday – Saturday and overtime as needed
