At Porsche Charlotte Northlake, we are committed to delivering an exceptional ownership experience that reflects the prestige, performance, and craftsmanship of the Porsche brand. We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Assistant to join our team in the Northlake area.

Position Overview

The Service Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within our Service Department. In this position, you will support Service Advisors, manage vehicle logistics around the dealership, assist with customer check-in/check-out processes, and ensure that every Porsche entering and exiting our facility meets our high standards of cleanliness and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Handling & Logistics: Safely drive, park, and stage customer and dealership vehicles throughout the service drive, lot, and service bays.

  • Customer Service & Check-In: Welcome arriving customers with warmth and professionalism, assist Service Advisors during high-volume periods, and escort clients as needed.

  • Vehicle Preparation: Inspect vehicles upon arrival for existing damage, install protective seat/floor covers, and run vehicles through the car wash or prep area prior to client pickup.

  • Service Drive Maintenance: Keep the service drive, valet lanes, and customer reception areas clean, organized, and free of clutter.

  • Loaner Fleet Support: Assist with preparing, cleaning, and managing the active shuttle or loaner vehicle fleet.

  • Department Coordination: Retrieve parts, assist technicians with staging needs, and run errand-based tasks to support daily dealership flow.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record (required).

  • Experience: Previous automotive dealership, valet, or customer service experience preferred, but not required.

  • Skills: Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles comfortably.

  • Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a polished, professional appearance tailored to a luxury automotive environment.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and perform light physical work in varying weather conditions.
