As a Bob Loquercio BDC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and assisting the Internet Sales Representatives who respond to internet inquiries and generate sales with customers who contact the dealership or who have visited the dealership. This highly accountable and process-oriented position uses lead management tools, advanced Customer Relationship Management software, and the internet to manage inquiry flow, update customer files, and closely track customer interest. The Business Development Manager should be technically proficient or be able to be trained to be technically proficient in using in-house, customer service, data mining, and campaigning tools, and to develop a deep understanding of all dealership products and services offered to drive an overall positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Training the internet sales team to respond promptly, professionally, and courteously to all internet leads
  • Providing scripts and workflow tools to staff to ensure uniform customer service

  • Ability to teach and train staff to be disciplined, process-oriented, and sales-driven through inbound, outbound appointment and service calls, internet leads, and internally generated customer opportunities
  • Ability to gain overall knowledge of automotive sales and service department operations
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of social media, social media channel marketing, and social media blogging
  • Ability to manage and motivate staff members

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
