Nurses are encouraged to collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere that helps distribute workload and improve patient outcomes.

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), patient monitoring systems, and possibly training in pastoral care or faith-based counseling is beneficial. Compassion, strong communication, and cultural sensitivity are essential soft skills for providing holistic care and building trust with patients and families. These skills ensure that patients receive comprehensive care that addresses both their medical and spiritual needs within the community.
