The DDC Senior Project Manager

The DDC Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and finalizing projects according to the specifications and schedule, all while keeping the project within budget.

Essential Duties Include but are not limited to:

  • Lead large-scale, multi-phase BAS projects from kickoff through final acceptance.
  • Oversee strategic accounts and high-visibility projects.
  • Mentor and train Project Managers and APMs, providing regular guidance.
  • Lead financial planning and forecasting across multiple projects.
  • Identify and mitigate financial, contractual, and scheduling risks.
  • Drive recovery efforts on troubled projects to regain margin and schedule.
  • Lead customer meetings, manage executive-level communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Ensure adherence to CMS project delivery standards across the team.
  • Provide input on process improvements and company-wide project standards.
  • Represent CMS in high-level construction or industry meetings.

Requirements

Qualifications preferred for job candidates:

  • 6+ years of DDC Project Management experience
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products
  • Must have a good working knowledge of the building construction trades
  • Must possess excellent people and organizational skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Must have experience with budgets and cost-tracking
  • Experience with project meetings and working with subcontractors
  • Strong comprehension of plans and specifications for construction projects
  • Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required
  • Must be self-motivated and able to multitask
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Specific knowledge of Distech, Siemens, Trend, and other Tridium-based systems is a plus but not a requirement.
  • The position requires the candidate to have the ability to lift up to 70 lbs in assistance of loading, unloading, and storing materials and equipment. The position will also require bending, climbing, pulling, pushing, balancing, kneeling, twisting, standing and climbing stairs and ladders
