Your Impact
The Sr. Analyst - DCSS is responsible for supporting supply chain initiatives in partnership with operations to achieve best-in-class management and deployment of capital programs, support-related services, and day-to-day operational performance execution. This role will lead efforts to analyze, manage, and deliver vendor support agreements, service expectations, requirements, and overall program performance relative to the work scope and deliverables. The Sr. Analyst – DCSS will be the subject matter expert, understanding the field needs for services and how to improve vendor support-related performance, analyzing historical performance data, and recommending process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and improve service levels.
The Sr. Analyst - DCSS will lead DCSS and Operations project initiatives relating to capital planning, financial forecasting, and the team's overall execution against the budgeted plan. This role will develop and manage detailed project plans to include resource allocation, KPI management, budgeting including forecasting, and project tracking to ensure deadlines are met. A strategic mindset and capability are required to ensure long-term planning and DCSS capital deployment roadmaps are aligned with Supply Chain's overall strategy.
What You Will Do
Analyzes supply chain data and trends to identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.
Coordinates with a cross-functional teams consisting of operations, legal, technology, procurement, merchandising, analytics, and inventory management to effectively drive DCSS priorities and deliverables.
Performs industry benchmarking to ensure that Lowe's has best-in-class operational support capabilities, support services portfolio, and the right external support partnerships.
Executes project plans for programs, initiatives, and strategies within DC Support Services, including Run-the-Business capital deployment, forecast tracking and reporting, and any strategic initiatives defined.
Partners with key internal and external stakeholders to enhance the customer experience, improve operational execution and standardization, and drive best-in-class support for Operations.
Oversees the creation and review of all external support-related services within Operations. Optimizes external partnerships and develops the roadmap to drive support services strategies for Supply Chain.
Works closely with the Strategic Sourcing team to drive proactive engagement to define aligned services, SLAs, and necessary contract terms for Supply Chain support partners.
Supports any RFP process to ensure the vendor expectations and partnership is fully aligned to Operational needs. Performs analysis as needed to develop vendor scope. Ensure the vendor's compliance with the terms of the existing contracts. Tracks and monitors contract deliverables, deadlines, and renewals.
Develops regular reports on contract status, metrics, financial impacts and presents data with a clear point of view so that insights can be used to help drive process for the business strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Business, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or similar field with analytical bias or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
5 Years experience across the supply chain (transportation, distribution centers, planning, inventory fulfillment).
Microsoft Office Suite, EAM/7i, ServiceChannel, Power-BI, and Info Link.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, EAM/7i, Power-BI
