JOB SUMMARY

Oversee and manage a team responsible for the reconciliation of inventory and discrepancies throughout Medline's distribution network.

Collaborate with cross functional inventory control teams to drive the achievement of specified goals in total inventory adjustments, defect ratios, error/outlier reconciliation, and customer error management.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Enhance, track, and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner.

Reconciles monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory adjustments to ensure accuracy. Ensures timely completion of clearings and postings by IC Analysts.

Raise awareness among management peers on issues that include, but are not limited to, ongoing transaction processing/posting concerns, SOP compliance concerns, and DC trend concerns.

Identifies the root cause of inventory discrepancy trends and communicates the cause to the AVP of Supply Chain Integration and LP management, or other cross-functional members of the leadership team.

Reports on inventory activities and variances. Analyzes inventory adjustments within the system and recommends actions for improvement and reconciliation.

Management responsibilities:
--Typically oversees professional employees/teams OR manages non-professional employees through Supervisors in manufacturing, distribution or office environments
--Day-to-day operations of a group of employees
--May have limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact
--Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects; develop, recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies
--Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning
--Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies


MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or relevant field.

A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Solid knowledge of data analysis and inventory practices/reporting.

Intermediate to Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: pivot tables and charts, creating data tables, importing and exporting data to Microsoft Access).

Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$101,000.00 - $152,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
