Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable On-Site RV Service Technician to maintain and repair a fleet of RV units stationed at a dedicated RV park in TEXAS. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing RV systems directly on-site to ensure units remain safe, functional, and comfortable for residents. Unlike traditional dealership work, this role focuses on fleet maintenance, preventative service, and rapid response repairs to keep units operational with minimal downtime. Your technical expertise, efficiency, and ability to work independently will play a critical role in maintaining housing quality for the workforce supporting this major infrastructure project. Pay target: $60,000 to $100,000 yearly based on experience, housing provided!

Key Objectives

  • Maintain Fleet Readiness
  • Ensure all RV units remain operational, safe, and comfortable for occupants by proactively diagnosing and repairing issues
  • Minimize Unit Downtime
  • Respond quickly to service requests and complete repairs efficiently to keep units available and functional
  • Preventative Maintenance Excellence
  • Implement routine inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce system failures and extend unit lifespan

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site diagnostics and repairs on RV systems including:
    • Electrical systems (AC/DC)
    • Plumbing and water systems
    • Propane systems
    • HVAC and climate control
    • Appliances
    • Structural components
    • Slide-outs, leveling systems, and awnings
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections across the RV fleet
  • Respond to service requests from residents or site management and resolve issues quickly
  • Troubleshoot system failures and determine root causes to prevent recurring issues
  • Maintain accurate records of:
    • Repairs completed
    • Parts used
    • Maintenance schedules
    • Unit condition reports
  • Coordinate with parts suppliers and service leadership to ensure timely repair completion
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards and company service guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized service area and properly manage tools, parts, and equipment
  • Communicate professionally with residents, site managers, and internal leadership regarding repair timelines and unit conditions

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on RV repair or related mechanical/electrical experience
  • Strong working knowledge of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and propane
  • RVTI certification preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a field or on-site service environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • Personal set of technician tools
  • Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs with or without assistance
  • Comfort working in outdoor environments including heat, cold, dust, and noise
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple service requests
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening
  • Demonstrate alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interactions
  • Willingness to be on call with odd hours
  • Must live on site, housing provided and family is welcome
