Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a leading robotics company as a Robot Operator. This role will utilize VR and similar technology tools to hands-on control humanoid robots and support the continued rapid development of automated technology. As part of a growing team, this position will work towards daily/weekly team goals and data points for high-visibility initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

-Operation of robots through VR and GoPro based sensory input

-Staging of scenes in which the robot will operate

-Detailed documentation of issues

-Follow documented troubleshooting steps / audit documentation if process has changed, to keep information current

-Observe and monitor teammates during active scenes to ensure safety

Shifts:

Day Shift (6am-2:30pm) or
Evening Shift (2:30pm-11pm)

12 Month Contract
Monday- Friday Onsite

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-Personal or Professional experience with VR Gaming and/or extensive video game experience 

-Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness

-Ability to sit or stand for at least 90 minutes at a time

-No mobility issues that would prevent full range of motion as robot mimics your actions

-Comfort with voice being recorded

-Previous experience in any professional environment (understanding of how to behave professionally and potentially interact with customers)

-Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a developing environment where processes and structure do not exist in all areas

-Extreme patience and ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time

-Comfortable using a VR headset for an extended period (3+ hours)

-Reliable transportation and ability to commit consistently to a 40 hour workweek
