About the Role

We are currently seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking individuals to join our production team as Doffers on 2nd and 3rd shift. This is a critical role in our manufacturing process that helps keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

Job Summary

The Doffer is responsible for removing full packages of yarn or material from textile machines and replacing them with empty tubes or bobbins. This role helps ensure continuous production flow and minimizes machine downtime.
You will work closely with machine operators, supervisors, and production staff to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety standards throughout your shift.
Primary Responsibilities

  •  Remove full packages from spinning, winding, or textile machinery in a timely manner 
  •  Replace full packages with empty tubes, cones, or bobbins to keep production running 
  •  Monitor assigned machines and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors 
  •  Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards 
  •  Follow all company safety rules, procedures, and quality standards 
  •  Assist operators and other production staff as needed 
  •  Maintain consistent production flow to reduce downtime 
  •  Perform basic inspection of product quality when required 
  •  Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals 
Shift Information

We are hiring for the following shifts:
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
3rd Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Shift assignments may vary depending on production needs.

Qualifications

  •  Must be dependable with strong attendance 
  •  Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment 
  •  Able to stand for long periods of time throughout the shift 
  •  Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required 
  •  Willingness to work overtime when needed 
  •  Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions 
  •  Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills 
  •  Previous manufacturing or textile experience is helpful but not required — we are willing to train the right candidates 
Physical Requirements

  •  Standing and walking for extended periods 
  •  Repetitive motion throughout shift 
  •  Ability to lift materials (typical industrial range) 
  •  Working in a production environment that may include noise, heat, or machinery
