RN– Case Management Manager (Day Shift)


Location: Culver City, CA 90232
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Schedule:
  • Days: Monday – Friday
  • Shift Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

    Position Summary

    The Director of Case Management (DCM) is responsible for the planning, direction, and oversight of all daily operations within the Case Management function. The DCM collaborates closely with Physician Advisors and Medical Directors, leads the Utilization Management Committee, and supports high standards of care coordination and patient advocacy.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage daily operations of Case Management services.
    • Ensure departmental compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Serve as a liaison with medical staff and healthcare leadership to promote effective care coordination.
    • Facilitate and lead Utilization Management Committee activities.
    • Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to Case Management staff.
    • Handle hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes.
    • Review, analyze, and report on operational and clinical data.
    • Promote effective discharge planning and resource utilization.
    • Maintain a professional and collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams.

    Required Qualifications

    • Active, current, and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California
      OR
      Master’s Degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum four (4) years of experience in an Acute Care Case Management role.
    • At least two (2) years of leadership experience in Acute Care Case Management.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records.
    • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
    • Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN).
    • Knowledge of InterQual or MCG clinical criteria.
    • Certification in Case Management (CCM) or equivalent certification in Case Management/Nursing.
