Schedule: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? Aphena Pharma Solutions is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our A Shift team at our Fisk Road facility. In this role, you'll help ensure our products meet the highest quality, customer, and regulatory standards while working in a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
As a Quality Control Technician, you will:
  • Inspect and approve or reject incoming bulk drug products, containers, closures, packaging materials, and labels.
  • Review and approve production records, specifications, and components for accuracy and compliance.
  • Inspect and approve or reject in-process materials during production.
  • Perform routine quality audits and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and prepare inspection reports.
  • Review production documentation, identify discrepancies, and ensure investigations and corrective actions are completed.
  • Follow all cGMP requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in required training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with production and quality teams.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 to 3 years of quality control or related manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience in a cGMP or regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to perform AQL inspections and identify product nonconformances.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing throughout the shift.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Regular lifting and moving of materials up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting.
  • Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and distinguish numbers and symbols accurately.
