Job Description Summary
Instructional Designer (ID)
Sunbelt's Instructional Designer is equipped for success so we can make it happen for our customers.
The Instructional Designer (ID) is empowered to create training content, utilizing an understanding of curriculum design and instructional practices. The ID is involved in all phases of course development, including determining the best learning methodology, writing the content design, producing media, developing materials, and testing course functionality in the LMS. The position is also responsible for adhering to project timelines, maintaining relationships with subject matter experts and providing team support, such as engaging in internal course reviews for peers.
Education or experience that prepares you for success:
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or similar field or equivalent work experience
3+ years of instructional design experience in a corporate environment.
2 years' experience using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Rise
Experience with Adobe Creative products and Vyond preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:
Adult learning principles
ADDIE, SAM, or other rapid design methodologies
Designing learning in multiple modalities (ILT, virtual ILT, eLearning, job aids, etc.)
Communication skills (both written and verbal)
Editing skills and knowledge of grammar/punctuation

Base Pay Range: $64,790.00 - 89,086.80
