Position Summary
The Restoration Laborer is responsible for restoring job sites impacted by fiber optic construction activities. This position ensures that lawns, landscaping, roadways, sidewalks, and other surfaces are returned to their original condition-or better-following underground fiber installations.
Job Responsibilities
• Restore areas impacted by construction activities including lawns, landscaping, gravel, stone, asphalt, and concrete surfaces
• Prepare and apply grass seed, straw matting, fertilizer, and sod to restore residential and commercial lawns
• Dig holes, trenches, and pathways as needed to support fiber optic installation and restoration activities
• Operate and maintain hand tools and small power equipment such as shovels, rakes, tampers and compactors
• other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Must have a valid Driver's License and be insurable
• Construction or outdoor labor experience preferred
• Landscaping, concrete, asphalt or general site restoration is a plus
