Job description

Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

This role supports day-to-day production operations by performing a variety of hands-on tasks, including material handling, machine operation, and general labor in both indoor and outdoor environments. You will work on either 1st or 2nd shift, contribute to safe and efficient production, and help maintain a clean and organized facility.

Responsibilities

  • Apply endplates by hand or with machines according to production requirements and quality standards.
  • Operate banding equipment safely and efficiently to secure materials and finished products.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials, including charges, using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Support material storage activities by setting stickers and dunnage to ensure safe and stable stacking.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with general labor or production work, including tasks such as material handling and basic machine operation
  • Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively for tasks such as pounding hammers and cutting dunnage
  • Comfort with physical labor, including lifting, carrying, standing, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods
  • Basic machine operation skills, including assisting with operation and monitoring of production equipment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Machine operation, materials handling, forklift operation, inspection, farm work, construction, landscaping, or roofing is beneficial
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing production needs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.17 - $24.17/hr.
