Job description

DAY COUNTY HIGHWAY WORKER
Day County, South Dakota, is accepting applications for the position of County Highway Worker. Applicants should have some experience in general mechanics and be willing to learn to operate any equipment used by the department. Applicants should be able to do general labor such as signing, culvert work, lifting, etc. CDL is preferred but not required. Benefits include holiday pay, vacation, sick leave, health insurance, and retirement. Application forms may be obtained at the Day County Highway Office or by calling (605) 345-4658 and will be accepted until the positions are filled. Day County is an equal opportunity employer.
