Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $17hr - $22hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 3–7 years of experience managing datacenter operations for large and complex customer environments.
  • Well-versed in Racking, Stacking, Cabling, Decommissioning, and Break-fix activities on datacenter hardware such as Servers, Storage, Backup systems, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, etc.
  • Experience in capacity planning for rack space, power, cooling, DC modular containment, and monitoring tools/services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24x7 support for overall Infrastructure/Datacenter operations.
  • Perform 100% hands-on datacenter management.
  • Handle Incidents and Service Requests while adhering to contractual SLAs.
  • Coordinate with various datacenter vendors for new projects and break-fix activities.
  • Support project teams for new installations and decommissioning activities.
  • Perform datacenter monitoring and maintenance activities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting emergency communication systems, including coordination with third-party vendors.
  • Knowledge of operational tools for deployment, provisioning, monitoring, and performance measurement.
  • Hands-on knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).

Skills:

  • Flexible, continuous learner, excellent communicator, and team player.
  • Comfortable working in new environments requiring experimentation and rapid problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Responsible for analyzing production operations and initiating corrective actions to ensure operational stability and efficient workflow.
