Job description

Head-Royce seeks a dynamic professional to join the admissions team to assist in all aspects of admissions, retention, and recruitment for kindergarten through 12th grade. The coordinator will work closely with the Director of Enrollment Management, Assistant Director of Enrollment, Director of Tuition Assistance, and Associate Director of K-8 Admissions, as well as, as needed, the Marketing and Communications team.
The Admissions Outreach Coordinator should possess marketing savvy, be detail-oriented and adaptable, and thrive in a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This individual will join a mission-driven admissions team and must be eager to take initiative, share ideas, engage in professional development, accept feedback, and embrace new and creative approaches.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility will be setting up and maintaining all admissions, enrollment, and tuition assistance database platforms, including, but not limited to, Ravenna, Clarity, and HRSConnect. The Admissions Outreach Coordinator helps coordinate communication with inquiring and applying families, helps maintain the admission database, and assists with many aspects of admission, enrollment, and tuition assistance. The Coordinator is oftentimes the first point of contact with the school for visitors, families, and students, and therefore plays a critical role in setting the tone for the school. As such, the ideal candidate will bring a sense of humor, warmth, and humility to a job and proficiency in database management.
Job Specifications
  • Collaborate with community partners, stakeholders, or other relevant groups to build and maintain positive relationships in the East Bay and larger Bay Area communities
  • Work with the marketing and communications team to develop marketing materials and content that align with outreach goals, ensuring messaging resonates with the target audience
  • Coordinate and lead outreach programs to engage with the community and target audiences
  • Work with administrators to propose and implement marketing strategies designed to retain students through graduation
  • Work as a member of the admissions team in supporting tours when needed, assisting with database management, engaging with current and prospective families, helping with relevant events, etc.
  • Track and analyze outreach data, such as event attendance and communication engagement, while reporting on strategy effectiveness and adjusting tactics to improve outcomes
  • Participate in campus activities and events to build firsthand knowledge of Head-Royce's programs and traditions, and serve on admissions committees as needed
  • Help inquiring families understand the school's values and DEI initiatives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred, but not required
  • Two years of experience in independent schools preferred
