Job Description Summary

Performs a variety of functions in support of the Database Marketing Director and Marketing Department. The primary function is to provide clerical and administrative support to the Database Marketing Department. Assists in the effective implementation, tracking and analysis of direct marketing programs and system set up for implementation of these programs also provides additional support to overall Database management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Assists the Database Marketing Department in maintaining and tracking adherence to the annual budget and marketing plan.
  • Provides support in the areas of reception, filing, reporting and tracking for Database Marketing Team as needed.
  • Programs, creates and implements kiosk programs through the kiosk system.
  • Uploads offers and coupons onto patron tracking accounts, kiosk system accounts, and in event tracker formats.
  • Maintains and implements communication plans for direct mail, eblast, voice blasts, etc. for our patrons.
  • Coordinates and creates database marketing plans to assist in communication efforts with our patrons and team members.
  • Assists with monthly direct mail implementation to include proofing of copy and matrices, communication of programs as appropriate, maintenance of related files and ensures that monthly analysis are completed.
  • Pulls Direct Marketing lists from the database system for different marketing initiatives.
  • Works on scheduling of task related duties for the entire Database Marketing Team.
  • Coordinate with necessary external vendors and internal departments to ensure accuracy of direct mail programs.
  • Maintain timely procedures for the tracking and execution of all pertinent invoices and bills with regard to Marketing expenses.
  • Assists in daily operations.
  • Provides support for Database management team.
  • Observes and follows all policies & procedures and internal controls concerning all essential job duties.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Two years of college preferred.
  • 2-4 years office experience preferred or combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including word, outlook and Excel.
  • Strong technical skills with the demonstrated ability to learn software systems quickly.
  • Required to be able to easily learn and efficiently work in several different Database related systems to include: Kiosk System, Player Tracking System, Event Tracking System, Task Tracking systems, any systems related to distribution of direct marketing initiates and any additional Database related systems.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout theoffice area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstationfor the duration of the shift. Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.

Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
