Citi – Fixed Income technology is seeking a highly motivated candidate for their Infrastructure Service Delivery position. The Infra Lead will act as the primary support services liaison between development, Citi infrastructure, SA, DBA and Production support. The person will be responsible for infrastructure–related activities including server builds, database builds and configuration, driving decisions related to strategic migrations and setup, provisioning and configuring new infra requests for multiple applications, and coordinating tasks while performing deep‑dive investigations to understand existing architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Review application architecture and infrastructure hardware requirements with development teams.
- Develop strategies to meet Fixed Income Tech mandatory commitments and demonstrate in‑depth understanding of how technology infrastructure integrates within the overall technology function.
- Perform infrastructure capacity planning on an annual and ad‑hoc basis.
- Work with infra teams to lead application development teams, prioritizing, simplifying and de‑mystifying processes to make managing/upgrading the infra estate easier.
- Use automation and evolving AI technology to deliver EOVS upgrade solutions.
- Provide services by using insights from stakeholder/partner relationships, actively seeking information to understand issues, expectations and needs.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for Citigroup’s reputation and safeguarding the firm, its clients and assets; drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhere to policy, apply ethical judgment and supervise others with accountability.
- Understand infrastructure financials and their impact on budgets in the long run.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a technology infrastructure role, including people and project management and selected infrastructure technologies.
- Experience in financial services or a large, complex, and/or global environment.
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Proven ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and identification of best practices.
- Proven analytical, diagnostic and multitasking skills with a focus on execution and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and partner with virtual teams in a high‑pressure matrix environment.
- Demonstrated ownership of various project/initiative parts with tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectation/requirements.
Technical Qualifications
- Experience working with all storage solutions such as NAS, SAN, and S3.
- Knowledge of virtual IP, load balancers and firewalls.
- Experience with platform migration and upgrade activities, e.g., OS and database migrations (Unix and Windows).
- Working knowledge of certificates, SSL, connectivity, SSH, SFTP, firewalls and ports.
- Experience building and consuming APIs; knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or UDeploy.
- Proficiency in SQL, writing scripts and procedures, and using reporting tools.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.
Salary Range
$120,800.00 – $170,800.00 per year (Full time).
