Job description

About the Opportunity

· Set up of customer accounts in the computer system with tax status and credit levels. 

· Receiving payments and posting to customer’s account in accounting software 

· Deposit cheques received via cheques scanner or at the local branch. 

· I nvestigate and resolve payment discrepancies, request for remittances. 

· Process credit card payments 

· Monitoring AR shared inbox, addressing incoming internal and external requests.

· Sending monthly customer statements 

· Provide customers with copies of invoices as required. 

· Assisting with processing credit applications 

· Other duties and tasks as assigned.

About You

·1-3 years’ AR, customer set up and cash posting experience preferred. 

· Post-secondary education preferred, or similar in education and experience. 

· Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and understanding of computerized accounting systems. 

· Written and verbal fluency in English

· Strong problem-solving skills with good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.

· In the case of a power outage or declared State of Emergency by any level of Government in Ontario, be available for work.
