THE WORK
Lockheed Martin has been embedded with the USSTRATCOM Nuclear Mission for 30+ years and has a track record of bringing innovative mission software solutions to this domain. Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking engineers to support our USSTRATCOM software teams which create Planning and Command and Control (C2) capabilities as part of the Strategic Mission Planning and Execution System (SMPES) in a DevSecOps environment. In this role, you will help our team create modern Web-based, Java mission systems for the Nuclear community. The successful candidate will have experience with software systems built to exacting standards that are delivered on a DevSecOps cadence using Agile Scrum.
WHO YOU ARE
Our team needs a full-time Data Engineer. In this important role you will:
Help developers and architects understand the USSTRATCOM data environment
Provide containerized databases (relational and other) that support development activities
Coordinate data loads and scripts
Collaborate with USSTRATCOM data modelers on new data structures
Assist AI / ML engineers with identifying and accessing data
Help deliver capabilities for the Intelligence,Nuclear Planning, and Command and Control communities.
Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance.
