Job Purpose:
The Graphic Designer plays a key role in helping clients understand and make decisions about complex planning challenges. Through visual communication, storytelling, and design, this position transforms technical information, data, and planning concepts into clear, compelling deliverables that support stakeholder engagement and decision-making.
Working closely with Federal, Healthcare, Campus, and Facility Planning teams, the Graphic Designer serves as a bridge between planning and communication, helping bring ideas to life through graphics, presentations, reports, and visualizations that elevate the quality, clarity, and impact of Guidon's planning services. This role also provides design and Revit support that contributes to the successful delivery of planning and design projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Planning, Interior Design, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Experience using Autodesk Revit to draft and modify architectural/engineering drawings.

Responsibilities:
Planning Graphics amp; Visual Communication
  • Develop graphics, diagrams, infographics, and visualizations that communicate planning concepts and recommendations.
  • Create client-facing presentations, workshop materials, planning reports, and other project deliverables.
  • Translate technical planning information into clear and engaging visual formats.
  • Support visioning sessions, stakeholder engagement efforts, and planning workshops through graphic communication tools.

Planning amp; Design Support
  • Collaborate with Federal, Healthcare, Campus, and Facility Planning teams on planning studies and master planning efforts.
  • Produce site plans, campus diagrams, adjacency studies, space planning graphics, and conceptual design illustrations.
  • Assist in developing graphics that communicate planning strategies, options, and recommendations.
  • Support proposal, interview, and business development graphics related to planning pursuits.
Revit amp; Technical Production
  • Assist with Revit modeling, drafting, and graphic extraction for planning and design projects.
  • Create plans, diagrams, and visualizations from Revit models and project information.
  • Coordinate with architects and planners to ensure graphic accuracy and consistency.
  • Support production of renderings, exhibits, and presentation materials.
Collaboration amp; Continuous Improvement
