Position Summary

We are seeking senior professionals with strong government experience and deep expertise in data-driven and technology-focused initiatives to support multiple enterprise-level missions across the Army. Personnel in these roles will help shape organizational direction while also delivering hands-on solutions. Work will include contributing to enterprise-level strategy development, evaluating and advising on technology and data investments, implementing data-centric capabilities, and supporting governance activities that promote modernization, improved decision-making, and mission agility.

Candidates should be comfortable operating at the strategic level, engaging with senior leaders, refining operating models, and shaping policy, while also being able to execute technical tasks such as building data solutions, integrating platforms, or developing analytics that directly support mission outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support development and execution of enterprise-level strategies and modernization initiatives.
  • Assess and advise on technology and data-related investments and organizational priorities.
  • Develop and refine operating models, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Implement data-centric solutions, including analytics, integration, and visualization capabilities.
  • Build or enhance data pipelines, dashboards, and other mission-enabling technical products.
  • Analyze complex data to produce insights for leadership and mission stakeholders.
  • Coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups to align solutions with strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings, recommendations, and technical findings to senior leaders.
  • Travel up to 25% may be required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school in a technical discipline (e.g., data science, engineering, mathematics, science, computer science).
  • Experience working in or directly supporting U.S. government, DoD, or Army organizations.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Professional background in data-related disciplines (data analytics, data engineering, data governance, data science, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at the strategic or enterprise level, including advising senior leaders or shaping organizational direction.
  • Hands-on experience implementing data or technology solutions (dashboards, pipelines, analytics, system integration, etc.).
  • Familiarity with modern enterprise data environments, platforms, and cloud ecosystems used across the Army.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort working independently in fast-paced, evolving mission environments.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise technology, data strategy, governance, or digital modernization initiatives within defense organizations.
  • Background evaluating technology proposals, emerging technology investments, or enterprise platforms.
  • Experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Experience contributing to or developing organizational policies, governance frameworks, or enterprise strategies.
  • Advanced analytics or data science skills (e.g., machine learning, statistical modeling, advanced visualization).
  • Experience supporting large-scale Army or joint data events, exercises, or integration efforts.
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited school in a technical discipline (e.g., data science, engineering, mathematics, science, computer science).
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
