This role is essential in translating clients’ needs into innovative points and presentations of Dentsu’s global tech and data platform, dentsu.Connect, its integrated AI features, and the media workflows it enables across insights, audience, media planning, activation, and measurement. With a deep understanding of media ecosystems, platforms, data, AI and identity capabilities and frameworks, you will help build compelling narratives and solutions that position Dentsu as a leading choice in new business and client growth opportunities.This role will report to the Chief Solutions Officer, Data & TechnologyKey Responsibilities* Strategic Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Global Data & Technology and media pitch teams across Carat, dentsuX and iProspect, collaborating on solutions that align with client briefs and showcasing Dentsu’s global technology platform, dentsu.Connect, its AI features, proprietary and partner identity and data assets, and more. Be the Data & Technology expert and lead coordinator and collaborator of all required to drive pitch wins and client growth from use of Dentsu’s world class platform and data.* Media Workflow Collaboration: Lead initiatives including tailored dentsu.Connect platform and data demos in partnership with agency capability experts to demonstrate features across briefing, audience insights and planning, activation and measurement/reporting stages of work. Educate media teams on how the platform and data helps enable their work and drives best outcomes.* Client-Specific Solutions: Help develop and guide tailored written (ex: RFP) and presentation responses and materials that hit key points related to pitch briefs and client requests, focusing on how dentsu.Connect and its data assets can uniquely address client challenges and goals in media. Guide win-themes and scripts of dentsu.Connect platform demos in collaboration with key media leaders that can reflect goals and needs.* Data, Identity, AI Capabilities and Frameworks: Apply in-depth knowledge of dentsu’s data and identity solutions as well as its AI features and agents in dentsu.Connect to ensure internal teams and clients understand how this enables the best understanding of audiences, seamless targeting, measurement, and personalization.* Innovation and Best Practices: Drive innovation by keeping current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, ensuring that your positioning and differentiation points specific to client challenges and asks remain at the forefront.* Storytelling and Pitch Development: Partner with pitch teams to craft compelling, data-driven narratives that illustrate the impact and differentiation of its dentsu.Connect platform and identity and data offerings in addressing client objectives. Adapt dentsu’s Data & Tech capabilities and frameworks to meet specific client asks and needs and lead integration into master pitch stories and win themes led by Media team members.* Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with product, commercial and legal, data science, engineering, and account teams to align on client requirements, share best practices, and refine pitch and client growth-focused solutions for maximum impact.* Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyze pitch and client feedback to optimize Dentsu’s Data & Technology solutions, identifying enhancements that align with market needs and client priorities.Qualifications* Minimum of 15 years in media, advertising and/or marketing technology, or a related field, with significant experience in a senior leadership role.* Media and Data Expertise: Proven track record in media strategy, with a strong understanding of data and identity frameworks, audience segmentation, media planning, and performance measurement.* Client Pitch and Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated success in collaborating on client pitches, with the ability to distill complex data and technology solutions into compelling, client-centered content and narratives – written points, ‘in the room’ presentations.* Analytical and Strategic Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, client needs, and data insights to inform strategic decisions.* Leadership: Experience building and leading high-performance teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration.* Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an ability to convey complex information in an accessible way to stakeholders at all levels.* Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business, Data Science); advanced degree preferred.The annual base salary range for this position is $163,000-$230,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
