Job description

Job Summary:
The Data Steward is responsible for data governance across the plant, ensuring that all operational and analytical data is accurate, consistent, accessible, and fit for purpose. The role serves as the bridge between business functions and IT, maintaining day-to-day control of data used in manufacturing, operational systems, reporting, and analytics.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and fitness for purpose across all plant-level datasets.
  • Maintain day-to-day data control within governance and master data management processes.
  • Monitor data completeness, accuracy, and compliance with defined rules and standards.
  • Define, maintain, and enforce data standards, rules, descriptions, and naming conventions.
  • Document local data definitions, transformations, and business meaning of plant-level data.
  • Serve as the bridge between business and IT, supporting data accessibility, system use, and reporting alignment.
  • Collaborate with Business, OT, IT, Central Digital, and Data Architecture teams to ensure consistent data structures and flows.
  • Document business reporting requirements and help identify new analytical and data-driven opportunities.
  • Support the development of Power BI models, dashboards, and advanced analytics by providing clean and documented data inputs.
  • Manage local referencing, mapping, and aggregation of data when required by the site or corporate functions.
  • Coordinate data corrections, reconcile discrepancies, and address issues raised by users.
  • Improve data-related workflows across departments to enhance efficiency, consistency, and communication.
  • Maintain strong alignment with the Central Digital organization, ensuring site practices follow enterprise data governance models.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree it IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, IS/IT, or related field required
  • 5+ years of data analysis experience required, preferably in manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing or industrial data systems (MES, IBA, Braincube, ERP, etc.).
  • Experience in data governance, reporting, analytics, or master data management.
  • Ability to translate business processes into clear data requirements.
  • Experience with ETL data integration processes
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across functions.
  • High attention to detail, documentation discipline, and data integrity mindset.
  • Experience working with Power BI, SQL, Azure Data Factory, or other analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with Constellium's digital ecosystem or similar industrial environments.
  • Exposure to digital transformation programs, OT/IT convergence, or data architecture.
