Salary - $55k - $62k MUST RESIDE IN FAIRFAX OR LOUDOUN COUNTY - VIRGINA Definition This position is responsible for supporting the Informatics and Reporting Manager in developing, implementing, and facilitating methods of extracting and analyzing patient information using the electronic medical record (EMR) and reporting systems. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively both as a team member with multiple departments, as well as independently, in a very fast-paced, high-energy setting. Strict health information security and confidentiality are required.

Roles & Responsibilities Develop, run, and analyze clinical and demographic reports. Develop ad hoc specialized reports as needed to support the organization's ability to respond to ongoing demands or to track emerging issues. Serve as an active member of the UDS and other required external reporting teams.

Work independently and collaborate with other staff to understand and identify optimal means of meeting HealthWorks' data needs. A basic understanding of clinical decision processes, reporting, data analysis, and safeguarding of personal health information. Expert computer and EMR skills to include advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.

Strong orientation to problem solving, detail, accuracy, deadlines, and customer service. Strong oral, written, and data visualization communication skills are fundamental to ensuring all reporting requests are fully and accurately delivered and interpreted. Ability to work flexible hours as needed for special projects to include Uniform Data Systems (UDS) reporting.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to ensure a high level of service delivery; all staff are expected to function within a collaborative practice model, supporting the efforts of the other employees.
