Education Data & Reporting Analyst
Location: Westchester County, NY
Salary: $65,000–$80,000 annually
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM | Onsite

Acture Solutions is seeking an Education Data & Reporting Analyst to support a K-12 education client in Westchester County, NY. This onsite position plays an important role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of student and operational data used across the school district. In this role, you will administer and support student information systems and related educational databases, prepare required state and federal reporting, develop reports for district stakeholders, troubleshoot data and system issues, and assist staff with the effective use of district data systems. Working closely with technology leadership, administrators, and educators, you will help ensure reliable data and reporting processes that support regulatory compliance, daily school operations, and informed decision-making.

What You’ll Do

Data Management & Reporting

• Administer and maintain student information systems and related educational databases.
• Gather, organize, maintain, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Monitor data integrity and ensure the accuracy of student, staff, and operational information.
• Prepare and submit required New York State, federal, and district reporting.
• Perform regular data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop standard and custom reports to support administrators, educators, and district leadership.
• Assist with student enrollment, attendance, scheduling, demographics, assessment data, and related records.
• Support district testing administration and validate assessment data.

SQL & Technical Support

• Use SQL Server, SSRS, Excel, and related tools for data analysis, manipulation, and reporting.
• Create, run, and maintain SQL queries and packages to support district reporting requirements.
• Process data imports, exports, and routine system integrations.
• Troubleshoot database issues, system errors, and data discrepancies.
• Assist with user account management, access, and system security.
• Document data procedures, workflows, system configurations, and reporting processes.

Collaboration & Training

• Partner with technology leadership, administrators, and educators to support district data and reporting needs.
• Respond to staff questions and provide technical support related to student information systems and data.
• Collaborate with Technology Department staff to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant professional experience may substitute for education.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, information systems, or database support, preferably within a K-12 education or public-sector environment.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and technical information to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technology staff, administrators, and educators.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with student information systems such as Infinite Campus, eSchoolData, or similar K-12 education platforms.
• Experience with SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Familiarity with New York State education reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of student data privacy requirements, including FERPA.
• Previous experience supporting data and reporting within a school district or educational environment.
