#Job Overview
As a Business Analyst – Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in translating business needs into actionable reporting requirements. You'll collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure operational and client reporting is delivered accurately and effectively. You will also be responsible for analyzing data, identifying issues, and suggesting improvements to optimize business processes.
 
#Key Responsibilities
- Business Process Analysis & Improvement: Analyze and document current business processes and recommend solutions to improve them, particularly in the context of Healthcare initiatives such as Medicaid and Medicare claims.
- Requirements Gathering & Communication: Act as a liaison between clients, project managers, and technical teams to define, track, and communicate business requirements and their expected outcomes.
- Data & Reporting: Utilize system reports to identify potential data issues, propose solutions, and ensure data accuracy in reports.
- Testing & Verification: Create, execute, or analyze basic test scenarios to ensure that business requirements are effectively implemented in system designs.
- Client Interaction & Consulting: Provide functional and senior-level business solutions, process improvements, and change consulting to external clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure that designs and implementations align with client needs and expectations.
 
#Must-Have Skills
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Healthcare domain, preferably focused on Medicaid and Medicare claims processing.
- Business & Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information to both business leaders and technical teams.
