Job description

As a Senior Data Reporting Analyst, you will acquire, organize, validate, and interpret large datasets while delivering advanced analytics products and services to customers across the Automotive, Hardware and Home Center, and Electrical channels. You will be responsible for maintaining data quality, meeting customer deadlines and service levels, and improving analytics production processes. We are seeking applicants with strong analytical skills, close attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving problems. You will also share your knowledge, support newer team members, and work in partnership with colleagues to create long-lasting customer success.

What you will be doing:

  • Gather, integrate, and track data from multiple industry sources using database, business intelligence, and analytics tools in a high-volume, large-scale data environment.
  • Research products and industry information, categorizing data and attributes to prepare accurate content for analytics production.
  • Normalize, validate, and maintain complex datasets, identifying and resolving data-quality issues to keep databases accurate, complete, and organized.
  • Apply statistical and analytical techniques to interpret results, identify meaningful patterns and trends, and produce recurring reports and advanced analytics content.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of customer analytics deliverables, meeting contractual deadlines, service levels, and established quality standards.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to data workflows, reporting processes, quality controls, and production efficiency, including the responsible use of AI-enabled tools and automation.

What you will likely bring:

  • 3+ years' experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, product research, or a related field, with demonstrated success working with large datasets.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Pivot, pivot tables, data models, formulas, and data-validation techniques.
  • Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools, with knowledge of Strategy or a comparable platform.
  • Strong analytical, statistical, research, and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail and a process-focused approach.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, share knowledge, manage competing priorities, and adapt positively to change.

Minimum: $82,000 USD Maximum: $131,000 USD
