Job Summary
An Inventory Control Coordinator maintains accurate inventory records by monitoring stock levels, tracking movement, processing orders, and identifying discrepancies to prevent shortages or overstocking. They liaise with purchasing and other departments, ensure material availability, and provide reports on operations to management for process improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent loss.
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of purchase orders and customer orders.
  • Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies or errors and make corrections.
  • Ensure sufficient stock to meet operational needs and customer demand while minimizing overstocking and waste.
  • Communicate with purchasing, production, and other internal departments to coordinate material flow and manage schedules.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory status, transactions, and operational results for management, often making recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct cycle counts and regular audits to maintain inventory

Job Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5years'work experience in warehousing within manufacturing industry.
  • Must alwayshave the ability towear all required PPE.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend and twist for 10 hours a day.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, anticipate work to be done, work with minimum supervision and have strong follow-up skills.
  • Must have proven ability to work as a member of a team.
