Data Processing Intern

Located in the heart of California’s Central Valley, Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is focused on innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
Job Overview
Bee Sweet Citrus is seeking an optimistic, committed, and motivated student who is currently studying Agriculture Business / Business Administration (or other related degrees), to engage in our data processing team. This internship requires strong attention to detail, consistent accuracy, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This internship will require a minimum of 20 hours a week, to obtain the wide-ranging experience needed to succeed in this internship. Internships typically last three months, however, this internship may be extended based on your 90-day evaluation.
Duties/Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities are included but are not limited to the following:
 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Double-check work for accuracy; promptly notify a supervisor or manager of any discrepancies or unclear information.
  • Assist with tagging all full and partial bins/pallets before they leave your work area or by the end of your shift.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Understand and assist with different production programs such as AS400, Spokane (prior experience not required)
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and team members.
  • Maintain a steady and efficient workflow of bins/pallet

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills
  • Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently independently and in a team setting
  • The ability to communicate both verbal and written
  • The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to think rationally and apply logic during high-stress situations
  • Must be able to adhere to process protocol
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy environment

Experience
  • Enrolled in an accredited university or college
  • AG Business majors, Business Administration or related degree 
Pay Offered/Benefits
  • $17.90 per hour
