Overview

The Growth Operations Manager is a dynamic role within Apx Exchange that sits at the intersection of strategy, process and execution.  With a blend of strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making, the role enables revenue generation and business performance by ensuring that Sales, Client Service and Media Buying all operate efficiently and according to business goals.

The role's primary focus is on commercial optimization, operational enablement, and cross-functional coordination-all aimed at driving scalable revenue growth across the organization.

Responsibilities

Commercial Optimization

  • Help monitor client profitability across the organization
  • Work with finance to track revenue, gross margin, and client-level contribution.
  • Track the sales funnel and help leadership assess growth opportunities or pipeline risks
  • Analyze underperforming accounts and flag issues before they impact profitability
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive view to partnership spend and revenue extraction in accordance with partner agreements
  • Analyze spend and revenue data, making recommendations to improve extraction rates
  • Monitor and validate all prepaid deal pacing on a regular basis.  Troubleshoot any discrepancies in the data to ensure zero risk to the business
  • Support and inform annual business planning and partnership development

Operational Enablement

  • Design and implement process and workflows that enable client service and buying teams to maximize revenue opportunities against commercial terms
  • Support the monthly forecasting and financial reporting process in collaboration with finance and leadership.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date partner records in internal systems and files

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Act as the connective tissue between leadership, media buying, account management, finance and operations team.
  • Ensure client service and media buying teams understand deal nuances and the impact to business performance, putting their focus in the right areas to maximize revenue potential
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Media, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in the media buying industry, preferably within an Investment or Business Analyst capacity.
  • Exposure to (either directly or indirectly), and strong understanding of non-disclosed media buying practices within large media agencies
  • Strong understanding of MediaOcean systems (DDS, Prisma) and Salesforce
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills for financial tracking, reporting and visual presentation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
