The Project Manager will coordinate stakeholders, manage vendors, oversee project schedules, budgets, risks, and ensure successful implementation, data migration, training, and transition activities supporting over 900 statewide users.


Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key member of the project management team.
  • Manage project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Coordinate contract management activities and ensure all deliverables and milestones are achieved.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project documentation, strategies, and plans.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and issues.
  • Identify and escalate project risks that may impact delivery.
  • Track project milestones and recommend schedule or resource adjustments.
  • Facilitate communication between business, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Support system testing activities with business users and technical teams.
  • Lead project, stakeholder, and technical meetings.
  • Prepare documentation supporting grants, budgets, and legislative reporting.
  • Coordinate resources across multiple project managers.
  • Maintain compliance with State of Florida 60GG-1 Project Management & Oversight Standards.
  • Produce and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform additional project management duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including 2+ years managing IT projects.
  • Experience managing cloud-based solution implementations.
  • Strong experience with project management methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with:
    • Microsoft Project
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Project Management tools
  • Experience developing:
    • Project Plans
    • Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
    • Project Schedules
  • Experience facilitating meetings and documenting outcomes.
  • Ability to create executive-level status reports.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience identifying project scope and managing scope creep.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple initiatives.
