Roblox is seeking an On-Site Asset Management Specialist to join Infrastructure Asset Management of our rapidly growing Foundation Resource Management team in the Phoenix Data Center region. You will be responsible for tracking and inventorying the physical data center assets throughout the assets' lifecycle to ensure compliance to SOX and audits for Roblox. We are looking for a team member who has experience working with Data Center Operations, Accounting, Procurement, Software Engineering and 3rd party Vendor teams and understands the importance of tracking physical assets, its related details and the impact asset movements have on the organization.
You Will:
  • Ensure the data center physical fixed asset inventory is tracked from Receipt (via delivery notifications) through End of Life within Roblox's physical Asset Management Database. The asset lifecycle tracking procedures include:
    • Goods Receipt
    • Physical moves (both inter & intra)
    • RMAs
    • Disposals
  • Process financial goods receipt in Roblox's financial database to complete proper 3-way matches
  • Oversee physical asset tagging standards, maintaining asset tag thresholds and distribution of asset tags
  • Establish, organize and maintain a component inventory tracking process and system
  • Perform annual physical asset audit as part of SOX control
  • Train new On-Site Asset Management team members on standards and basic best practices for On-Site Operations team members
  • Serve as the Point of Contact for logistics planning and coordination with vendors for On-Site receipts/deliveries across multiple sites
  • Liaise with vendors to convey logistical & process post-mortems for Roblox order deliveries
  • Document runbooks, standard operating procedures and guidelines to ensure process and execution contingencies

You Have:
  • BA/BS (Preferred) or experienced, with minimum 5+ years' experience in Logistics, Warehouse and/or Data Center Asset Management
  • Detail oriented and have excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors
  • Able to handle changing priorities
  • Computer savvy with strong working knowledge of spreadsheet software

Please note, this role does require to be onsite 5 days a week.
For roles that are based at our data center in Goodyear, AZ: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.
Annual Salary Range
$98,830-$122,190 USD
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
