Job description

The Finance Data Management Team supports the implementation of finance data models, delivers end-user tools and analytics, and drives change management across finance and business customers. As a Finance Data Management Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in managing and analyzing financial data to support business decision-making and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility within finance systems, enabling the finance team and business stakeholders to leverage data effectively. In this role, you will impact the financial data quality and reporting capabilities that drive strategic financial planning and operational improvements across the organization.
You will report to the Director of Finance Data Operations and will be based in Phoenix on a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, technical processes, and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
  • Manage and maintain financial data repositories ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and implement data management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Manage data integration, migration projects, and maintain data accuracy across systems.
  • Test systems and interfaces impacted by changes to data models.
  • Coordinate updates to mapping tables/logic.
  • Support Analytics Roadmap for future enhancements/alignment.
  • Work with various teams to ensure user testing and validation are conducted effectively.
  • Support change management initiatives.
  • Analyze requests for data needs and prioritize project and ad-hoc efforts.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 3+ years of overall experience as a finance or analytics professional spread across data science, data management, analytics, FP&A, controllership, or business intelligence.
  • Proven experience in data management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles, data governance and data quality practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Knowledge of databases, data warehouse structures, data mining and reporting tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • SAP, Essbase, Alteryx, and Snowflake experience.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and assertive individual.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in analytics processes and methodologies.
  • Business acumen and the ability to understand and align analytics initiatives with business objectives.
