Job Description The Data Management Manager oversees the organization's data lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility. They lead a team responsible for data governance, data quality, data architecture, and data compliance.
This role will entail the management of demand-capacity data for purposes of geospatial analysis, forecasting, and financial modelling as a guide to business planning and technical solutioning

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the build-up, warehousing, organization, transformation, processing, quality, and governance of demand-capacity datasets

  • Designs and produces scripts, workflows, and models needed for geospatial analytics, facility-based forecasting, build and selling decision-making

  • Ensures proper versioning and archiving of databases arising from new information, quality checks, area-based updates, and demand-capacity data refreshes by applying data management disciplines and best practices

  • Reconciles the demand data produced by multiple sources, projects, and initiatives to ensure a cohesive, de-duplicated, clean database

  • Enforces governance over proper use, access, and interpretation of demand data and reports by internal customers

  • Manages the integration and access to Enterprise Data and Customer Analytics data marts and platforms to enable the confluence of internal and external data for richer insighting

  • Develop and implement data management policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, including data ownership, stewardship, and accountability.

  • Manage data quality initiatives, including data cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement data architecture solutions that support business objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years work experience in database management, data warehousing, ETL, data visualization, and data mining

  • Work experience in a telco company is preferred; with working knowledge of telco fundamentals

  • Graduate of Statistics, Computer Science, IT, or other related courses

  • Expert knowledge in analytics, visualization, and mapping tools (Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau, R, Google Maps), experience using Alteryx is preferred

Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in data management or related roles

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial position

Level of Knowledge:

  • Advanced knowledge of data management principles, practices, and technologies

  • In-depth understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security concepts

  • Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management

Certifications:

  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
