Position Summary

This Supervisor/Associate Manager, Data Management position resides in the Data Management team and is primarily responsible for overseeing the completion of tasks associated with maintaining product related master data in various applications used by the Mail, Specialty and Coram businesses, in support of pharmacy operations. The Data Management Supervisor will lead a team of Consultants, Coordinators and Assistants responsible for adhering to business processes and guidance provided by internal business partners.

What you will do
  • Executing on daily, weekly and monthly reports utilized to ensure purchase price accuracy, performing cross-system data synchronization, new client on-boarding, validation of strategic system data and support of data cleansing routines.
  • Occasionally be required to perform ad-hoc data analysis/mass updates to ensure all data aligns with established data governance guidelines.
  • Act as a mentor and will be the team members' 1st line of contact regarding data validation rules or procedural questions.
  • Expected to be hands on with the work of the team, performing a portion of the daily tasks as well as acting as a backup resource when necessary.
  • Have a keen focus on performance metrics designed to measure the timeliness and accuracy with which work is completed by the team, relative to defined Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
  • Compiling team metrics and addressing performance issues with the team, monthly.
  • Interacts with a variety of internal business partners including Brand/Generic Contracting, Drug File Administration, Pharmacy Procurement, Pharmacy Operations, and Accounts Payable teams.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal Trade teams and external Pharma Vendors to help ensure purchase price accuracy in CVS systems.
  • Establishing lines of communication, obtaining information and refining processes to capture the most accurate data.
  • Participate in training new employees and ensuring department documentation is kept current.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years data analysis experience.
  • Experience training, coaching, or mentoring team members to enhance performance and capabilities.
  • Proven experience in research and issue resolution.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills are required, with VBA experience preferred.
  • Detail oriented, task driven, and have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Required to work remotely with the ability to attend the Scottsdale, Arizona office once per month on a mandatory basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience leading a team is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or Material Management module experience preferred.
  • Strong preference for candidates with pharmacy experience.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is preferred.
  • A basic understanding of the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business and pricing models is preferred.
  • Experience working in a metrics driven environment with clear accountability for performance outcomes and service level goals.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience identifying process gaps and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years work experience in line with requisite job responsibilities is required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
