Job Description

The Data Engineer will support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data infrastructure to ensure accurate, secure, and timely access to data across business applications and teams. This role is responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, managing databases and data warehouses, and supporting data integration efforts across cloud and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities include collecting and transforming data from multiple sources, developing dashboards and reporting solutions, maintaining data quality and integrity, optimizing data performance and scalability, and supporting configuration control and documentation of the organization’s data architecture. The role will collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making and enterprise digitalization initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with data infrastructure, databases, data pipelines, and data transformation

  • Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, AWS/AWS Redshift, Oracle, SSAS, Dataiku, Alation, and related data tools

  • Experience with MS Excel, MATLAB/Simulink, Mathcad, Midas, and MagicDraw

  • Knowledge of probability, statistics, applied mathematics, mathematical programming, and network analysis

  • Experience with server troubleshooting and performance optimization

  • Familiarity with Jira or ServiceNow

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Knowledge of engineering systems and combat vehicle environments

  • Experience supporting development teams and structured problem-solving initiatives

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience required

Education
