Black & Veatch is seeking an Integration Manager to lead a global team of software and engineering professionals delivering Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence Solutions (Smartplant) in support of large, multidiscipline energy and infrastructure projects.

This role is responsible for managing SmartPlant software development, configuration, and deployment for nuclear power generation facilities, ensuring delivery meets nuclear quality, safety, security, and regulatory requirements.

The Integration Manager will be accountable for scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and compliance, and serves as the primary coordination point between Engineering, Engineering Systems, Administration, IT, Quality, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. #LI-AT1 

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Accountable for delivery of SmartPlant scope supporting energy projects, in accordance with approved project execution plans and Black & Veatch governance standards.
  • Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of SmartPlant software initiatives across geographically distributed teams.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, cost forecasts, staffing plans, and performance metrics appropriate for nuclear projects.
  • Manage change, risks, and issues, escalating as required to leadership.

Engineering Systems & SmartPlant Oversigh

  • Coordinate SmartPlant project initialization, configuration, development, security, and lifecycle management
  • Ensure configuration control, documentation accuracy, and data integrity within SmartPlant environments.
  • Partner with Engineering, Engineering Systems, Design Technologists, and IT to ensure tools align with project-specific requirements.

Quality, Safety & Regulatory Compliance

  • Implement project specific quality requirements within the assigned scope.
  • Support audits, reviews, and documentation requests related to SmartPlant delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Black & Veatch policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and coordinate a global, multi-discipline team including software professionals, engineers, and support staff.
  • Serve as the primary SmartPlant point of contact for internal stakeholders and nuclear clients.
  • Facilitate project reviews, status reporting, and coordination meetings.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, computer science,Information Systems preferred or any other degree, specialized training, or experience, that makes the individual uniquely qualified to perform the job responsibilities.

  • 8 years of project management experience in engineering, software, or industrial systems environments.
  • Direct experience with Hexagon SmartPlant solutions (e.g., P&ID, 3D, Instrumentation, Electrical, Materials, and Foundation).
  • Experience supporting nuclear energy, nuclear services, or highly regulated infrastructure projects.
  • Experience delivering software enabled solutions for energy, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Familiarity with engineering systems, or digital delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with source code management tools (ADO / JIRA) and IT best practices for developing and deploying design technology applications.

Minimum Qualifications

Typically a minimum of 12 plus years related work experience.   • Experience managing enterprise engineering software platforms in highly regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated experience leading global or distributed teams.
