Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and coordinate enterprise infrastructure initiatives across a growing, multi-site environment. This role will be responsible for managing network, telecommunications, infrastructure modernization, and site technology projects while serving as the primary point of coordination between internal IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and field locations.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in IT infrastructure and networking, coupled with proven project management experience delivering complex technical projects across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects including network upgrades, site deployments, telecommunications, security initiatives, and technology refresh programs.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate activities across infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, operations, and vendor teams.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across geographically dispersed locations.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, stakeholder communications, and executive updates.
  • Partner with business leaders and site personnel to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
  • Identify and proactively mitigate project risks, issues, and resource constraints.
  • Ensure project documentation, change control processes, and implementation plans are maintained.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships, hardware deployments, installation schedules, and service providers.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of IT Infrastructure Project Management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing network, infrastructure, or technology deployment projects.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure including:
    • Networking (LAN/WAN)
    • SD-WAN
    • Wireless technologies
    • Telecommunications
    • Server and cloud infrastructure
    • Infrastructure security concepts
  • Experience managing third-party vendors, service providers, and implementation partners.
  • Strong project planning, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting multi-site enterprise environments.
  • Background working with infrastructure modernization, branch/site deployments, or large-scale network refresh initiatives.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar project management tools.
  • Prior experience in aviation, logistics, distribution, retail, fuel services, or other geographically dispersed operations environments is a plus.

This role is best suited for a technically oriented Infrastructure PM who understands networking, site deployments, and infrastructure operations. The successful candidate will be capable of managing multiple infrastructure initiatives simultaneously while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with minimal disruption to business operations.

Salary/Rate: $65-$80/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
