Job description

Position Summary: The primary function of the Data Entry Specialist is for timesheet entry and EVV entry for our centralized branches into Horizon for payroll processing. All time entry corrections from the SDR report will also be made in Horizon by the Data Entry team. Data Entry Specialist will also pre-process payroll for all Addus branches in Horizon and export information for gross to net processing through ADP Vantage. Working remotely! Must live in the TX or IL areas.

Pay: $17.00 Hourly

Schedule: Remote (Within the IL or TX market) Mon-Fri 8-4:30pm Some OT may be needed at times. Possible weekend work at times during peak payroll holidays

Essential Duties:

  • Assist with payroll processing task including data entry, processing and verification
  • Accurately enter all payroll related data necessary to process and meet deadlines
  • Responsible for filing, updating and maintaining employee payroll files as required
  • Assist with reviewing and confirming payroll data audits
  • Responsible for time data entry utilizing Horizon and Cell Trak and other EVV platforms
  • Completing all corrections on SDRs for centralized branches
  • Adhering to payroll schedule deadlines and payroll processing dates
  • Pre-Processing, exporting and validating payroll files to submit to the Payroll Specialist for gross to net processing in ADP
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
  • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
  • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements
  • Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards

Position Requirements & Competencies:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience preferred
  • Knowledge working in Horizon preferred
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of learning new technology applications
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Possess proficient analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, strong Excel skills preferred
