Job Overview:
  • The Specimen Technician will provide general support within the Specimen Processing Department in a high-volume laboratory environment. 
  • This role involves specimen handling, data entry, processing support, and adherence to compliance and safety standards. 
  • The position requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong data entry skills with ability to perform high-volume keystrokes accurately.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to follow compliance and laboratory processing regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to maintain safety standards in a biohazard environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime if required.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods.

Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience required; laboratory or specimen processing experience preferred.
